Education is vital and a crucial factor in ending global poverty. With education, employment opportunities are broadened, income levels are increased and maternal and child health is improved.  More than 80 % of Uganda’s population is rural and 35% of the people lives below poverty line. The system of education in Uganda has a structure of 7 years for primary education, 6 years for secondary education before one joining university or to a vocational institute. In 1997, the Government of Uganda introduced the Universal Primary Education program to provide free primary education. Enrollment increased from 3.1 million pupils in 1996 to 8.4 million in 2013. But this success is overshadowed by high dropout rates and poor-qualityschooling. According to UNESCO (2012), 68% of children in Uganda are likely to drop out before finishing the primary cycle due to several challenges: gender
inequalities, low motivation of teachers, child marriages, lack of awareness of the benefits of education among parents, and poverty as mandatory school fees
remain a substantial challenge for most children. The government of Uganda recognizes education as a basic human right and continues to strive to provide free primary education to all children in the country. However, issues with funding, teacher training, rural populations, and inadequate facilities continue to hinder the progress of educational development in Uganda. Girls are disproportionately discriminated against in terms of education; they face harsher barriers when trying to gain an education and it has left the female population disenfranchised, despite government efforts to close the gap. Mrs. Cherie Skelton’s passion for young children is always to see that they attain quality education; and in the line above, she made an effort to provide the vulnerable children a promising future with education and she did by sponsoring miss Jacent Nakamanyi throughout her education life something that brought light to her life and future.to day Mrs. Cherie Skelton and miss jacent Nakamanyi  have decided to drive the same idea to children who are left with nothing other than eating leaves and grass Together with a team of dynamic, zestful, avidity, accomplished and secure people who occasionally pay visits to our sponsored children on a termly basis to check on their academic and day to day life and as well as their well-being in schools. These as well take the scholastic materials to the pupils in the preparation of the next term activities

Our education is based on the following pillars;                           

All school-age going children have access to an inclusive quality education, this Sustained access to meaningful learning environment is critical to long term productivity .We consider quality and fundamental condition for learning and participation in other activities that enable and keep pupils in schools.  We encourage schools to create effective systems intended to improve children’s learning outcomes.  We guide teachers to change their pedagogical processes in the classroom in order to accommodate participatory & active learning by creating learning environments where participation & contribution by all learners is sought. Equity; Through our Non- Formal Education programmes we emphasize the need for equal opportunities to access education for all children regardless of age, sex gender and physical abilities
